Pilot Club Provides Bike Helmets for Bleckley Pre-K Students

Members of the local Pilot Club visited Bleckley Pre-K and presented a Pilot International’s BrainMinders ™ brain-safety education program and puppet show.  Following the presentation, each child received a bike helmet to take home and use when riding their bike.

Brain injury is a leading cause of death and serious permanent injury to young children and teen-agers.  Throughout the world, brain injury occurs every 15 seconds.  The program’s goal is to minimize the statistics for brain injury and teach children to be responsible for their own brain safety.

Bleckley Pre-K appreciates the Pilot Club partnering with them to help educate and promote safety in children.
