SPRING CONCERT DATES

Spring Royal Singers and Literary Concert, Thursday, April 2 at 7:30. 

Cost is $5 Adults and $3 Students.  All Proceeds help to pay for a Show Choir Competition.

BCHS Relay Team Donates Money

The BCHS Relay for Life team collected $3400 last October by selling t-shirts for the Pink Out football game. The money was donated last week to Bleckley County Relay for Life.
The Bleckley County Relay for Life event will be held Friday April 24 at the old high school track. Activities start at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited.

SENIOR Cap and Gown Pictures

Senior Cap and Gown pictures will be taken this Friday from 8am-12pm in the Auditorium Lobby. The schedule will be posted by Wednesday for your time to have your picture taken. If you are a student who is usually NOT on campus between 8-12 you will be expected to be here for your picture. There are NO retake or make-up days for Senior Cap and Gown Pictures.

Georgia Testing Preview for Parents

Welcome to Experience Online Testing Georgia!

The Georgia Milestones tests measure what students in grades 3 through high school have learned. Many students will take the new tests online.

Parents and Students can access the testing site on line through http://experience-ga.ctb.com .

BETA members place at Competition

Twenty BCHS Beta members competed at the Georgia State Beta Convention March 6 and 7, 2015, in Atlanta, Ga.

WICKED


10th Honors English and Journalism Classes traveled to Atlanta to see the production WICKED.  This was an opportunity for a cultural experience visiting the Fox Theatre. Follow up in the classroom will include students discussing different interpretations of characters and character analysis based on selections from the novel Wicked and the stage production.

For many of the students this was their first visit to the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
