Student winners were presented certificates and a cash award of $25.00 provided by the different clubs in GFWC Georgia. A cash award was also presented by GFWC to their teacher, Mrs. Deborah Sawyer to help with student supplies. GFWC Georgia is a state organization composed of women's clubs throughout the state of Georgia, whose members provide volunteer services to their communities. The Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs sponsors an annual writing contest to provide students an opportunity to freely express themselves and draw upon their experiences through writing. Congratulations to these local students on their wonderful writing!
