Car Rider Safety Information

In the mornings, please do not drop your child off in front of the school. Please use our car rider line. Buses will unload  in front of the school. This helps keep our students safe as they are unloading from the buses and our bus traffic flowing smoothly. In order to keep our car rider students safe and to help them easily find their cars, we use only one car rider line.  If you want to avoid the long lines, the car rider line opens at 7:15 am each day and closes at 8:00 am. In the afternoon, car rider dismissal starts at 2:40 pm and ends at 3:10 pm. If your child is an afternoon car rider, make sure you have the sign with their name on it displayed on your dash. Please be courteous and patient with our car rider staff as they help get your child safely to and from your car.

Things to Remember

  • Please make sure your child’s name is on their book bag. Several children have the same book bag and this helps us to identify the book bag’s owner.
  • Signed papers go home on Wednesdays for First and Second graders. PLEASE check folders every night in Kindergarten!  Remove papers sent home and return those that are required!
  • Please call the school before 11:30 am to make changes in the way your child goes home. Please send a note with your child if they are to go home a different way in the afternoons.
  • An additional change of clothes in your child’s book bag is appreciated in case they have an accident at school and need to change clothes.
